SEARIDGE FOUNDATION FOR DRUG ADDICTION TREATMENT, REHAB & RECOVERY

Searidge Foundation is located in a rural, peaceful area of Nova Scotia, an area similar to Charlottetown, that is world famous for their mussels, seafood and beautiful ocean side landscapes. Located just 2 hours from Halifax, it is of the utmost importance to us at Searidge that we make the transportation process as effortless for the client as possible. We understand that the transition to a sober, chemical-free life can be very stressful, and as such, we strive to make the journey a most comfortable one. Whether you take the Wood Island ferry from PEI to Caribou, Nova Scotia or fly into Halifax International Airport, our driver will pick you up at any location and from there bring you to Searidge Drug Rehab centre. Searidge Foundation exemplifies the major benefits of receiving drug rehabilitation treatment outside of your hometown, and in this case, your home province. When you are away from all the familiarities of your regular routine in Charlottetown, the success and stability of your sobriety greatly increases.

From a different perspective, Searidge Foundation offers the folks from Charlottetown the opportunity to escape their life of addiction, by providing a safe space, close enough to drive to, but far enough away to turn a new leaf without constant reminders of the past that would hinder your recovery. Additionally, the distance between Charlottetown and Searidge Drug Rehab allows for a degree of privacy, not attainable by remaining in Charlottetown. Searidge Foundation has provided many residents across the maritimes with the support and treatment necessary to overcome addiction.

Following the clients return home to Charlottetown, upon completion of the drug addiction treatment program at Searidge Foundation, there is a comprehensive aftercare program to help them maintain their sobriety. Only a short distance from Charlottetown, the support and hope needed for a new, sober life awaits you.

SMART RECOVERY MEETING INFO HELP AT SEARIDGE DRUG REHAB FOR RESIDENTS FROM CHARLOTTETOWN, PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND

SMART Recovery is an abstinence-based, not-for-profit organization with a sensible self-help program for people having problems with using and drinking. It includes many ideas and techniques to help you change your life from one that is self-destructive and unhappy to one that is constructive and satisfying. SMART Recovery is not a spin-off of Alcoholics Anonymous. No one will label you an “alcoholic”, an “addict” or “diseased” nor “powerless”, and if you do not believe in a religion or spirituality, that’s fine, too. We teach common sense self-help procedures designed to empower you to abstain and to develop a more positive lifestyle. When you succeed at following our approach, you may graduate from the program, or you may stay around to help others.

Searidge Drug Rehab offers a variety of aftercare programs to those from Charlottetown that are attending Searidge Drug Rehab and was created to help ensure their sobriety is maintained and that the client is successful in their recovery.
