Located in a quiet, scenic area of Nova Scotia, is the wonderful Searidge Foundation & Saint John drug rehab program. Shucking contests can usually be found on a local poster indicating the date and time. Located just 2 hours south of Halifax, we strive to make the process of getting to Searidge from St. John’s effortless. We want the best for our clients, and we know that travelling can make the transition to a life of sobriety a little bit stressful. In our effort to eliminate as much stress as possible, we can have our driver pick you up anywhere in Nova Scotia. Whether you fly into the airport or take the ferry to North Sydney, we will be there to pick you up and make the rest of your travels as comfortable as possible.

SMART RECOVERY MEETING INFO HELP AT SEARIDGE DRUG REHAB FOR RESIDENTS OF SAINT JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK

SMART Recovery, Drugs, Drug Addiction, Treatment, Sober Living, Rehab, Recovery, Therapy

SMART Recovery is an abstinence-based, not-for-profit organization with a sensible self-help program for people having problems with using and drinking. It includes many ideas and techniques to help you change your life from one that is self-destructive and unhappy to one that is constructive and satisfying. SMART Recovery is not a spin-off of Alcoholics Anonymous. No one will label you an “alcoholic”, an “addict” or “diseased” nor “powerless”, and if you do not believe in a religion or spirituality, that’s fine, too. We teach common sense self-help procedures designed to empower you to abstain and to develop a more positive lifestyle. When you succeed at following our approach, you may graduate from the program, or you may stay around to help others.”

Searidge Drug Rehab offers a variety of aftercare programs to those from Saint John, New Brunswick that are attending Searidge’s Saint John drug rehab initiative, and was created to help ensure their sobriety is maintained and that the client is successful in their recovery. “Are you feeling overwhelmed by daily life? Consumed with thoughts of worry, sadness or confusion? Is your mood having a negative impact on your personal relationships or ability to focus at work? Although it’s normal to experience a variety of emotions, if you feel stuck in your thinking, it may be time to seek some support. In counselling, you will learn to recognize how your thoughts can impact both your mood and behaviour. You will learn new strategies to help you cope with these emotions and feel more confident in your ability to take control of your life.

My background includes working with people who have been impacted by anxiety, depression, chronic pain, disability, grief and loss, anger management, parenting and behavioural problems. I offer flexible daytime and evening appointments. An initial consultation can be offered by telephone or video chat to discuss your needs and what I can offer to you.

I am located in West Saint John near the community of Grand Bay-Westfield. I offer both in person and video counselling.”
